Why This Schedule Is Semi-Fixed

The Integrative Pain Transformation Program uses a carefully designed rhythm of intensive work, integration, and biweekly support because nervous system change requires specific conditions to occur.

Week 1 (Opening Transformative Imagery): Establishes your nervous system baseline and creates a resourced internal space you'll return to throughout the program. This opening session introduces somatic awareness and sets the foundation for all work to come.

Weeks 2-3 (Intensive Phase): Your nervous system meets skilled touch twice per week, creating conditions for deep nervous system regulation and the release of chronic holding patterns. This intensity is essential for initiating transformation.

Weeks 4-5 (Transition): Sessions decrease to once per week, allowing your nervous system and tissues time to integrate the intensive work. This is not a step backward but a necessary pause for integration.

Weeks 6 & 8 (Integration Weeks): No scheduled sessions. Your nervous system continues processing beneath conscious awareness. You maintain self-care practices and notice what's shifting.

Weeks 7 & 9 (Biweekly): Sessions shift to every other week. Your nervous system has integrated significant regulation; these sessions deepen the work and prepare you for ongoing self-directed practice.

Week 10 (Closing Transformative Imagery): Consolidates the transformation that has occurred over the 10 weeks and establishes sustainable practices for ongoing nervous system regulation. This closing session honors your journey and transitions you toward self-directed, ongoing practice.

This rhythm mirrors how nervous system change actually happens: intensive input, integration time, deepening work. Skipping or rearranging sessions disrupts this process. The semi-fixed schedule ensures you receive the full benefit of the program's design.
